Evil Mouths and Dolphin Meditation Centers

Guess what I did today!

I was on the radio! Though it was a local radio broadcasting... it was still exciting, and I got nervous. I thought I was going to do a horrid job, but I ended up doing an okay job at it. I even got compliments about it... there were some backhanded compliments as well... but that's a long long long story.

Yeah, the person who we were told was going to interview us, didn't. It was a person who hadn't interviewed someone in like AGES! The last interview she did was a little bit before ours, and they said she ended up just like talking at them... which she did not do to us, which is good. The radio broadcasting was done to advertise our school, it's deadline and such... I had fun with it, and I was really glad that my mouth cooperated with me, usually it kills me! Evil mouth.

We had to be on hold for a little bit there (like 4 minutes...) but it felt like A LOT. We had to listen to the person talk and stuff and the commercials and such.. the commercial were hilarious! I think I even heard something like "Dolphin Meditation Center" Well my friend did.. and we all were laughing... We have strange places in our town....

So yeah... I had fun today... Oh and my friend brought me a scarf from like the Middle East, he went there for the most part of our Spring break.. and he brought a lot of us scarves and THEY WERE AMAZING! I love mine... I wore it today.. :) Thank you! You know who you are (I don't want to mention any names...)

But, yes, Thank you!

Mon Vendredi

Today, I had tons of fun.... but not the whole day.... So first I had to wake up early-ish because I had to babysit this one creature (my mom is supposed to but she had to work...) so I woke up and did zombie-like things for like fifteen minutes.... anyways... I had to babysit the creature-child... The creature-child is pretty chill, but the most annoying part of babysitting was that the creature-child would, like, come to me every fifteen minutes or so and say:

"Hey, look what I found." and my first thought was... "Um... it was never lost...". But of course I wouldn't say that to the child, it's not very kid-friendly. So this would go on, until they picked the creature up at like 2-3-ish...

       THEN

I sat in front of these cupboard things that contain everything that I love and cherish, and just cleaned it out and looked through things and remembering things from when I was younger... it was a great walk through memory lane, I enjoyed it... But there were a lot of spiders in memory lane...

Later... I had to get ready for this thing that I had to go help out at; I had to help sell food and stuff at a play. It was really cool, I had a lot of fun working with the person I worked with. We'd never really had a "real" conversation before, so it was nice being there and talking. I learned a lot of cool thing about them. My NIGHT was really cool, I had tons of fun and I hope I have a lot of more cool times like those... I've been having those lately... I'm glad.

Oh, and I tasted cucumber sandwiches for the very first time ever... and they were AMAZINGLY AWESOME!

Redheads and Ladies and Gleeks, Oh My!

So  couple weeks ago... I discovered this brand new band (all by my self too!) It's called Rilo Kiley. It's amazingly cool. I'm not entirely sure who the "lead" singer is... but it's either a girl or a guy... Wait... those are the only options... But whatever... It's this one girl with red hair... (RED HAIR ROCKS!) and this other guy, right? So they're really cool, my favorite song by them as of now... is I think  "The Money Maker", "Dreamworld, and  "The frug"; they're all amazing. They have a really mellow/upbeat/put-a-smile-on-your-face type of sound, it's really neat. I really enjoy listening to their music, If you'd like to check them out yourself, here's a link to their site: http://www.rilokiley.com/home

On to another music related topic... Lady Gaga. Have you heard about this musical creature? She's crazy imaginative, her videos --though provocative-- have so much creativity thrust on them. It's amazing, and I'm almost certain she like Co-directs/produces everything... which is really cool. I'm not a crazy fan of hers, her music is fine... but I am a fan of her creativity and imagination and that she has the guts to throw herself in the spotlight and do what she wants to do, no bullshit. Just her and her music... and sunglasses. She has just released her latest music video, "Telephone", which features BeyoncĂ©. (I'll talk about her later...) So anyways... this new video... tops the list of provocativeness, it's like a porno with a "Thelma & Louise"-ish plot line, accompanied with really mainstream music. I mean... it's cool, but my favorite part is the fact that it was banned from airing on MTV... I love that! Here's a link to her video on Vevo: http://www.vevo.com/watch/playlist/lady-gaga-beyonce/87244#0 )

Now... where are my Glee freaks? Who watches that show? I do! It's amazing... I love that it's like a normal teen show, but with the greatest thing in the world... MUSIC! I really love that it is addressing a lot of things that us teenagers go through in life (i.e. pregnancies, homosexuality, peer pressure, school, etc.) But I really adore the fact that it has music to go along with everything on the show, and that it gets really awesome, watchable, guest stars, and that they sing too! I can't wait for the second season to start... this April! So close! Make sure to to watch it when it starts airing again, oh and if for all of you amateur thespians or professionals, I guess, there are casting for three new characters on the show... so if you were looking for your big break... you might still have a chance.. but since April is right around the corner, maybe not not... sorry. But, if you don't get into this season and you try out and stuff... you might have a chance of the third season...? Anyways... It's a great show, you beh'uh watch it suckers!

Alright, I'll stop harassing, later tater haters!

My Life's A Barren Produce Isle

I wish I could blog freely... without thought of my blogs getting too similar to the plot line of some teen show on the CW... because seriously, sometimes, when you right down what happens to you at school, or just in school. It starts getting really creepy... like deja vu. I think if I write down what I think and feel, I might start getting threats from schoolmates and that wouldn't be too great. But then again, no one really reads my blog... because no one knows of it, but who cares. I still get paranoid of someone reading what I say, or someone reading what I would HAVE To say... (Did that make sense?)

Any ways... It's spring break, and I wish I had something to do. Because as of now, there is nothing to do. My life is like a barren produce isle at a super market... it needs some more bright coulored fruits and veggies. The only thing I see is my reflection on the ugly tiled floors... I want to do something fun over this break, something that includes my friends. (and not my parents) I want to have a REAL life.

I need to get out more... (sorry if you didn't understand me... especially that weird produce isle-supermarket metaphor thing :-/)
